Happy Surprise!

A few days ago, Sam Usher and I received a lovely notice that ALL ABOARD THE LONDON BUS has been selected to the shortlist for the North Somerset Teachers' Book Awards! We're joined on the list by three other wonderful poetry books -- A POEM FOR EVERY NIGHT OF THE YEAR, by Allie Esiri and Zanna Goldhawk, REACHING THE STARS: POEMS ABOUT EXTRA-ORDINARY WOMEN AND GIRLS, by Jan Dean, Liz Brownlee, and Michaela Morgan, and A ROCKETFUL OF SPACE POEMS, by John Foster and Korky Paul. What terrific company we're in! The awards will be announced on the 18th of November. Fingers crossed!
