Make a Magic Egg!
Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom Ag Mag
Here's a simple activity for young ages. The only things you will need are:
• a printout of the page below
• a white crayon
• watercolor paints and paintbrush
• water
• imagination

Follow the directions to "invisibly" decorate an egg. Then use a wash of watercolors to reveal the hidden design.

Click on the image below for a printable pdf.
The goal of Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom is to provide educators and students with resources that will help them understand the role of agriculture in their lives and society. A series of Ag Mags are available on different topics.

Click here to see the Poultry Ag Mag, which is chock-full of information about poultry and eggs.
