Vicky and June: Pals and Petals releases in the UK on June 4, 2026!

Vicky the lively squirrel and June the gentle hedgehog are best friends. Six short, beautifully illustrated chapters follow their funny, warm adventures and are perfect for readers just graduating from picture books.

Spring is almost here in Vicky and June's cosy woodland world. For these best friends, that means making a map to guide Spring to their house, planting seeds (flowers and veggies) and making crowns and bracelets from reeds. And there are always lots of games to invent and play together as they wait for their garden to bloom.

Charmingly illustrated throughout by Hoang Giang and published by Walker Children's Books UK.
